Vintage Copper & Bakelite Belgian RTT56B Rotary Telephone with Original Straight Flex Cord

Description

This is a very recent arrival at the boutique and a bit different to our usual items!

This is a retro and vintage brass (copper coloured) telephone with a rotary dialler – some of our younger customers may need to google how to use this!

It is in an untested condition with the ring dialler in perfect working order as demonstrated in the videos. There are no connecting cables apart from the original straight flex from the body to the bakelite receiver, which is in good to very good condition.

The item is likely to have been made in the 1950s and copper coloured lacquer is showing minimal signs of wear. There are not many other signs of wear with this item considering its likely age and use for the time. These items can also be retrofitted for modern usage – please ask a your local electrical engineer for advice.

A great eyecatching and statement piece for the lounge, hallway or office for decor or future use.

Thanks for looking
