Description
This is a burgundy velour fabric mahogany vanity stool likely from the late 20th century. It is covered in a luxurious burgundy velvet material and has a mid-sheen black satinwood finish with golden embellishments.
It has recently been recovered by the look and feel of the fabric and the rest of the piece has worn very well with time and usage. The seat foam also looks recently recovered and has a seat has a depth of 15cm in total including the cushion. The legs and body have a simple, yet striking black finish and the contrasting gold edging decor frames the seat beautifully.
As with all items this age, there are slight marks, though most attention to detail has been catered for by the refurbishment. It also comes with fire resistant tags.
All in all it is a very striking piece and would look fantastic against a similarly darken wood vanity unit or even as a simple piano stool.
It is 54cm in height, 45cm in total width with the depth being 40cm.
Thank you for looking.
