Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is considered the greatest German literary figure of the modern era. He was a German writer and statesman. His works include: four novels; epic and lyric poetry; prose and verse dramas; memoirs; an autobiography; literary and aesthetic criticism; and treatises on botany, anatomy, and colour.

This is a selection of his works in six volumes. It is entirely in German. The books date from the 1940s and 1950s and are in very good condition for their age, however, the paper dust jackets are showing age related wear, tatty and browned around the edges. That said, it is in overall good to very good condition. There may be some annotations here and there, though all round a very good sound copy
