Early 20th Century (poss 1930s) Silver Plated Cutlery Canteen – 13 pieces – Green Snakeskin Leather Binding

This is a cutlery canteen caddy from the early twentieth century – likely to be 1920s or 1930s.

The EPNS cutlery is in good condition with some signs of tarnishing and age related wear, though nothing significant of note. the mother of pearl coloured linen is slightly stained with age.

The box is in poor to acceptable condition, hence the competitive price. The clasps are missing or broken. The leather finish shows considerable wear to the outside, down to the bare wood in some parts. The box structure itself, however, is in sound condition.

Despite its age related wear, this is a charming piece, and the leather snakeskin patterning is very intricate. This is definitely an item for a collector or for someone looking to update a set.
