Metamorphic Vintage Side Table/Firescreen with Hand-Painted Kitten and Tiger Reflection – Good Condition

This is an usual metamorphic British side table/fireplace screen, possibly from the 1950s, having a small kitten with a tiger reflection on display

These firescreens tended to have what was called stitching or embroidery “samplers” which were usually displayed in the frame to display a range of various stitches that could be done by the sewer. This version however has a more up-to-date picture of a small kitten, in brown and greyscale looking into a pool of water and seeing a large tiger reflection. The glass screen is in very good condition.

Being a metamorphic piece, the fire screen doubles up as a side table when necessary being held up by two clips at the rear. The rear is pinned and is in good condition. The piece overall is in good condition too.
