Description

Set of 4 Japanese Choken Wares. Includes; Trinket box, pin dish and 2 decorative plate (one wall plate). All decorated with 24kt gold. Please note that the first image only shows 3 items. There are 4 items in total.

The images are created by etching pure copper and then gilding it with silver and gold. The engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the samurai warriors. This art form was handed down for over eight hundred years.

Dimensions: Approximately. Plates 19.5cm and 16cm diameter, small pin dish 10cm diameter, trinket box 10cm diameter x 4.5 cm tall.
