Description

These are two excellent serving platters from JHW Weatherby Ceramics in Hanley, UK. Branded under their Falcona ware, this ‘Rosary’ design is one of their more popular and recognisable.

The items are in good to very good condition. As ironstone was very durable and rustic lookign, it does shoe signs of use and age related wear, however, it there are no significant discernable blemishes, chips or cracks worthy of note

The larger platter is 40cm in width and 30.5cm in length, and the smaller plate is 35cm in width and 27cm in length

A great couple of pieces of vintage British ceramics
