This fantastic reproduction Victorian tall hallway stand with mirror, drawer and candle sconces. we believe it originates from the 1980s to early 1990s and it is in very good condition having weathered the last 40 years well with only minor scuffs (in fact, most of the scuffing is on the back of the item, which would be out of view) and the odd dint here and there – it is a very good and faithful copy of older Victorian hall stands, many of which were dismantled and broken up due to changing tastes and their sheer size. This piece is made of a dark stained wood for a mahogany effect.

This piece is a true sight to behold. It is just over 2.2m in height (so check to see if this will fit in your hallway!) though is rather compact in both width and depth, being 98cm and 40cm in each respectively. The sconces on both sides of the central mirror are adjustable horizontally, so if they are both lit, they can be manouvred away from any potential rainwear clothing and the mirror behind adds to a rather Gothic effect.

It contains an umbrella rack on both sides, a central mirror a small surface for envelopes and mail, two coat hooks, one drawer and a two-door unit underneath the drawer. There have been repairs done to the umbrella stand to the left of the piece, though this is hard to spot unless looked for. The finial adds the finishing touches and can be removed if needs be
