Vintage Alfred Meakin “Old Willow” Ironstone Blue and White Ceramic Milk Jug – Very Good Condition

Description

This is a recent arrival at the boutique. It is a 1930s Alfred Meakin Ironstone “Old Willow” Milk Jug

It is in overall very good condition and very typical of Meakin Ironstone and the iconic Chinese inspired blue and white Willow pattern. It is also rather tall for a milk jug, which we found rather interesting. It is 14cm at its widest diameter and 12.5cm tall.

This would be an excellent addition for those who collect Meakin or Blue and White and those who appreciate the workmanship of traditional British Ironstone ceramic

As most of our items are antique or vintage, we cannot guarantee all items are in pristine condition and whilst we will flag any significant imperfections, the old mark, dent or nibble may pass through. Please be aware of this when purchasing our vintage items
