Vintage Cast Iron Enamelled Lidded Cooking Pot.

Description

This twin handled red cast iron, enamelled cooking pot is in reasonable condition for it’s age. It was made around 1940s – 1950’s. It is extremely heavy, weighing 4.8kg with the lid on. It is showing clear signs of age and usage. There are some very tiny chips on the handle and lid but this is only to be expected from a utensil that was a major part of cooking during this time. Measurements are, 10cm tall not including lid x 31cm end of handle across to the end of other handle x 24cm diameter. Excellent for the collector of this type of wares but also usuable.
