This is a great plaque – most likely to be the Hindu Goddess Saraswati, goddess of knowledge, music, art, speech, wisdom, and learning

It is in good to very good condition with some age-related wear and patina, though no significant defects that we can see.

We believe the item to be made from a brass or metal plate mounted on a wooden backboard and covered in linen
