These Pewter tankards are in good overall condition. Some are obviously older than others.
The hammered tankard (pic1, pic4, pic5) It is quite heavy and was probably made sometime around the 1960’s. by George Lee and Co. of Sheffield. It measures 12.5cm tall x 9.5cm wide at top rim.
The Pincer Brothers tankard with the fox handle does show some wear but is in overall good condition. It has a hammered effect body. It measures 13.5cm tall x 8cm wide at the top rim x 10.5cm wide at base.
The Fellowship of the Services tankards are being sold as a pair. It is commemorating the years 1927 – 1977 and is no. 158. It is inscribed with “St. Ledger Mess” (1979) and is in very good condition.
There is also a plain tankard, ready for engraving. This measures 13cm tall x 8cm wide at top rim. Again in good condition.
