Here is a smashing collection of 22 vintage 1″ maps of the UK – the earliest dating from the late 1920s up unto the early 1980s where these were then gradually phased out.

They are all in the condition you’d expect for paper maps for over 70 years old, slightly dog-eared in places, but all are in foldable, usable condition, and after a quick flick through of some of the maps, there is little in the way of annotation or marking to the maps.

The maps are from all locations across the UK and the collection would definitely suit someone who collects, wants to start to collect, or mounts maps from across the world.
