Twin Victorian Pot Plated Inkstand – Very Heavy and Sturdy – Complete with Original Glass Liners

Now here’s a magnificent piece of metalwork. This is a turn of the century Victorian Ink stand with the classic twin well design. We believe it to be cast iron and nickel plated.

Although there is a patina on the item, it has weathered extremely well – no significant damage, blemishes etc. It even has its original inkwell liners, made of glass. These have slight chipping around the lip as it has been used for its original purpose and not just decorative.

The inkstand is 34cm wide and 13cm in both depth and height. Overall it is Very good to excellent condition

All in all a great piece of calligraphy history and most definitely a conversation piece.
