Two Blue Mountain Pottery Dolphins – Canadian Art Pottery – Both in Excellent Condition and with Tags

Now here’s an impressive duo. We have two excellently maintained and very large Blue Mountain pottery dolphins from Ontario, Canada. Blue Mountain art distinctive by their drip glaze black and usually either blue or green coatings and often sculpt animals, such as cats and here, dolphins!

The sizes are for the larger dolphin, the smaller is 31cm in length by 18cm in height and is large enough by itself. The smaller one has tags and stickers from their place of origin. Both are likely to have been made in the 1990s.

The glaze is immaculate and both are free from any significant blemish of note, any chip or crack that we can see. Just beautiful all round.

This would make a great centrepiece on a mantel or large bookcase.
