Wooden Antique Writing Slope. Good Condition. Made around the late 1800s to early 1900s.

Description

This antique writing slope, is in good condition, considering it’s age and has managed to survive mostly intact, from those many years of usage. It has wonderful dove tail joints and has two ink wells, (no liners). There are the usual signs of usage for an item from this period and is now missing it’s key and lock has been removed. There is ample storage inside for letters, or writing implements and the like. Would look very elegant with a good wax shine. It measures approx, 53cm length x 40.5cm width x 17.5cm at tallest point.
