Description

This is a recent arrival at the boutique. A fantastic find is this very rare Copeland and Garrett blue and white plate warmer. A true antique made between 1833 and 1847.

Dating back to around 1770, this famous North Staffordshire pottery became known as Copeland and Garrett in 1833 to 1847. In 1847 it became known as W. T. Copeland & Sons. This why this item can be accurately dated between those years.

Taking into account its age, this item is in acceptable to good condition. It has an old chip to the rim and an hairline crack to the side. There is some crazing but this this is to be expected due to age.

Dimensions: 24.5cm diameter x approximately 5cm tall.

As most of our items are antique or vintage, we cannot guarantee all items are in pristine condition and whilst we will flag any significant imperfections, the old mark, dent or nibble may pass through. Please be aware of this when purchasing our vintage items

Thanks for looking.
